We strive to keep our fees affordable. The tax preparation fee is based on the forms required for your tax return and the overall complexity of the tax return. You will be provided an estimated cost for your tax return prior to the return being prepared. We accept cash, checks and debit/ credit cards for payment. Payment is expected when we complete your tax return. We do not provide refund loans or take the tax preparation fees out of your refund.
Because our owner, Robert W. Smith, EA holds the Enrolled Agent certification, he can assist with all tax matters related to the IRS and all states. If a problem arises, he can help you resolve it.
You generally have 3 years from the original due date of the tax return to file and claim your refund. After 3 years, the government keeps your money.
